The JAX Film Salon is a new monthly series celebrating Jacksonville's independent filmmakers through intimate screenings and conversation. Each Salon features award-winning films by artists from our region, followed by a conversation with the filmmakers and creative team — an intentional, personal gathering that brings thought-provoking cinema to new audiences.

For the premiere of the JAX Film Salon, featured artist David Girard curates a selection of films from across his career, including works by David Girard, Justen Mann, Franklin Ritch, and Adam Madrid. Together, these films showcase Girard's work as an actor, writer, and director across intimate drama, psychological thriller, science fiction, and comedy, united by a fascination with the moral choices that define us when ordinary life gives way to the extraordinary.
