Improv isn’t just a performance skill. It’s a foundation for how we communicate, listen, respond, think, tell stories, lead, collaborate, and connect. When you become more comfortable improvising, you become more agile and present in every other form of communication.
Improv to the Rescue® is BABS’LAB’s signature improvisation class, developed by Barbara Colaciello through more than 30 years of teaching. This hands-on training builds skills in improvisation, storytelling, communication, acting, comedy, leadership, and public speaking.
Designed for both actors and non-actors, the class uses improvisation as a practice for developing confidence, spontaneity, presence, and connection.

Creative risk-taking within an ensemble
Working as an ensemble accelerates growth for everyone. New students learn the foundations by jumping in and playing, while returning students deepen their practice by embodying, refining, and building the work alongside the group.
The goal reaches far beyond the improv exercise. The better you become at improvising, the more naturally you can navigate conversations, tell a story, speak in public, collaborate, lead, and respond to whatever comes your way.

SHOWCASE: 11/ 30
TIME: 7 Pm - 9 PM
LENGTH: 2 hrs 15 minutes
WHERE: BABS’LAB, 603 King St., Jacksonville, FL
Entrance on Phyllis St., back of building, the path between palm Tree and fence.
TUITION: $250 for 10 classes. Two payment Options
PAY in full and receive a discount: $220 ( Save $30)
PAY in Two installments: $125 each. 2nd payment due Nov 3rd.
Wear comfortable clothing, a notebook and water.
